Kristin began writing in earnest while in high school. Since earning a B.A. in English and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, she has taught university courses, advocated for the preservation of historic sites as educational and community resources, studied portrait painting, and raised a family. After moving to Zürich, she founded Smith + Cahn von Seelen Communications in 2020 to create original written and visual content for corporate, not-for-profit, academic, and individual clients. She recently completed a graduate diploma in fine art at the Royal College of Art in London.
